- Clinic session (this is NOT a throw out the ball and play event, we focus on teaching!)
- Recruiting & Empowerment Talk with College Coaches & Current/Former Members of the US National Team & Women’s Professional Lacrosse!
our why
A longstanding goal of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has been to grow the sport of women’s lacrosse throughout the country through high level play, positive media exposure, and of course, coaching initiatives. This year’s launch of new regional events in the IWLCA Tournament Series, provides an opportunity to take another step towards this goal in a big way. And while we are excited to bring new playing opportunities with the IWLCA Southeast Cup, IWLCA New England Cup presented by Coast to Coast LAX, IWLCA West Coast Cup presented by Coast to Coast LAX and IWLCA Southwest Cup, we felt there was something missing… but not anymore.
The IWLCA Experience is a series of comprehensive learning and exposure events geared to empowering the player and growing the game through positive player coach interactions. From advanced stickwork & agility instruction to recruiting and empowerment talks, plus two hours of hands-on instruction by college coaches, the IWLCA Experience will help prepare players for lacrosse at the next level and allow them access to IWLCA coaches. Conveniently scheduled the night before tournament events, these events will bring together players and college coaches for a uniquely interactive 3-hour event!
The IWLCA Experience is open to ALL girls in grades 2025-2028. There are no corporate recruiting services tied to this event in anyway; the recruiting talks given during the Experience will be hosted by current & former college coaches only.
